1. What is a mobile optician?
A mobile optician is a person provides eyewear services on-site at communities, organizations, and workplaces, bringing quality frames, lenses, and fittings directly to people rather than requiring them to visit a traditional optical store.
2. Do you provide eye exams?
No, I do not perform eye exams, but I can help you understand your prescription and guide you in selecting the best lenses and frames for your needs. If you need an updated prescription, I can refer you to an Optometrist.
3. How do I book a consultation?
You can book an onsite or phone call consultation through the website or by emailing me at berekti@eyeroll.ca
4. Who can book your services?
I primarily work with organizations, workplaces, and communities that want to offer eyewear services to their members, employees, or residents. However, if you’re an individual in need of mobile eyewear services, reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
5. What types of glasses do you offer?
I provide a range of quality, stylish frames and lenses, including single vision, progressive, bifocals, blue light filtering, anti-fatigue lenses and sunglasses.
6. Do you accept insurance?
I can direct bill most main insurance providers. If I am unable to bill yours directly I can provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance provider. It’s always a good plan to check with your insurer first to see what is covered.
7. How long does it take to receive my glasses?
Once your order is placed, glasses typically arrive within 2 weeks, depending on the type of lenses and customization required.
8. Can I bring my own frames and just get new lenses?
Yes, as long as your frames are in good condition, I can help you get new lenses fitted.
